1. Website Usage Terms

  1. This website is operated by Buff City Soap, LLC. All online purchases are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Purchasers must be of legal adult age in their respective jurisdiction; any order placed by minors requires legal guardian authorization, and all account actions are the sole responsibility of the account holder.
  2. Account holders shall safeguard their login credentials. Transferring, renting or selling accounts and subscription benefits is prohibited. Buff City Soap reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating relevant rules. Any loss caused by outdated contact information or compromised passwords shall be borne by the user.
  3. The company reserves the right to revise these terms at any time. Continued website browsing and order placement after updates constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
  4. Users may not conduct data scraping, malicious order fraud or any activity that impairs website operation; violating parties shall bear corresponding legal liabilities.

2. Online Order & Payment Rules

  1. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, Sezzle installment payment and official gift cards. Gift card amounts apply only toward merchandise subtotal and do not count toward loyalty points or free shipping eligibility.
  2. No edits to shipping address, item specifications or fragrance selections are permitted once payment is finalized. Orders generally cannot be canceled after checkout. Buff City Soap may cancel orders proactively for inventory shortages or suspected fraudulent transactions with full refunds issued to original payment methods; user-initiated voluntary cancellations are not accepted.
  3. Product pricing is subject to change without prior notice. Online-only promotional offers and subscription discounts are exclusively valid for website purchases and cannot be redeemed in physical stores. Discount codes expire per listed terms; related perks are forfeited upon full or partial order refund.

3. Shipping Policy for Online Deliveries

Shipping Zones & Rates

  • Contiguous 48 US States: Flat standard shipping rate of $9.99 per order; orders subtotaling $75 or above qualify for free standard shipping.
  • Alaska & Hawaii: Excluded from free-shipping promotion; shipping cost is calculated based on package weight with no fixed flat rate.
  • No international shipping is available via the official website.

Processing & Transit Timeline

  • Standard orders require 2–3 business days for warehouse processing before dispatch. Custom Buff By You orders require an additional 1 business day of processing time. After shipment, delivery takes 5–7 business days for regular contiguous US destinations and 7–10 business days for remote areas. Tracking numbers will be emailed post-dispatch and become trackable after 24 hours.

Seasonal Shipping Restriction

During hot summer months, Body Butter, Lotion Bars and lip balms are suspended from online shipment due to high-temperature melting risk. Such items are unavailable for online purchase and shipping; all other soap, home and laundry products ship year-round.

Lost & Mis-shipped Parcel Disclaimer

  1. Packages misdelivered or lost due to incorrect shipping address submitted by the buyer will not be reshipped or refunded.
  2. Buff City Soap accepts no liability for replacement or compensation for parcels marked as successfully delivered but subsequently stolen.
  3. All collected shipping fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

4. Returns & After-Sales Service (Online Shipped Orders Only)

  1. Due to hygiene regulations governing handmade body care goods, returns or refunds will not be approved solely for personal dislike of fragrance, unsatisfactory skin feel or wrong self-selected scent. All customized Buff By You products are non-refundable once produced.
  2. Customers may submit damage or wrong-item claims within 30 calendar days after delivery by providing clear photos of outer packaging and defective/incorrect items. Approved claims are resolved via product reshipment or store credit; original shipping cost will not be reimbursed.
  3. All online after-sales inquiries shall be directed to official customer service via phone (888-868-7627) or customer service email; physical retail locations cannot process after-sales for online shipped orders.

5. Online Subscription Terms Only

  1. New online subscription orders receive an exclusive one-time 15% discount valid only on the initial subscription shipment; recurring subsequent renewals will be charged at regular price. Discounted order subtotals qualify toward the $75 free-shipping threshold calculation.
  2. Subscriptions auto-renew and charge monthly unless users submit a written cancellation request via official customer service. Cancellation takes effect upon formal company email confirmation and does not affect already processed and shipped orders.
  3. All subscription shipments follow the identical online shipping and after-sale rules; custom subscription items require extended processing time of one extra business day.

6. Buff By You Custom Online Product Terms

  1. Customers may customize products with any two selected fragrances for soap, cleaning and laundry lines via online checkout. Custom items carry higher pricing than standard inventory and cannot be returned due to unsatisfactory self-chosen scent combinations.
  2. Body Butter cannot be customized, purchased or shipped online and is only available for in-store production.

7. Online Loyalty Program Rules

  1. Loyalty points accrue only on full-price online purchases; amounts covered by gift cards or promotional discounts do not earn points. Earned points expire automatically 12 months after issuance with no extensions.
  2. Accumulated points may be redeemed online for coupons or complimentary gifts subject to listed expiration dates. Corresponding points will be deducted retroactively if an order is fully or partially refunded.

8. Product Disclaimer & Intellectual Property

  1. All items are handmade; minor natural variations in color and texture across production batches do not constitute product defects and are ineligible for refund or replacement. Product formulas may be updated by the brand without prior consumer notification.
  2. Products contain natural plant-based ingredients. Buyers are advised to conduct a small skin patch test before full use; no refund will be issued for individual allergic reactions unrelated to product manufacturing defects.
  3. All website text, images, formulas, trademarks and scent names are intellectual property owned by Buff City Soap, LLC. The brand obtains free non-exclusive usage rights for all customer reviews submitted on the website for marketing and display purposes.
